KIDS SUMMER CAMP ADMISSIONS (ages 10 – 13 years old)

There are no requirements for the Kids Summer Camps, but the student is expected to have an upper intermediate level of English.

No I-20 is necessary for summer camp students, as they are coming to attend a camp experience. Students will study either on a B1/B2 visa or an ESTA depending on their country of origin. Dates and tuition information are nyfa.edu/summer-camps/kids/.

PLEASE NOTE: NYFA does not provide housing, airport transfers or meals for Kids Summer Camps. This is a commuter only program, a parent or guardian must drop them off and pick them up from school every day.

TEEN SUMMER CAMP ADMISSIONS (ages 14 – 17 years old)

There are no requirements for the Teen Summer Camps, but the student is expected to have an upper intermediate level of English.

Upon processing of the application, you, as the agent, will receive the acceptance notification to the summer camp, along with an invoice for the tuition. Within a few days of submitting the application, you as the agent will be sent an email that includes a link to online forms that must be filled out in order to finalize enrollment and housing. These forms are sent separately as part of the complete information packet, usually available as of mid-April. Billing for housing will be added to a student’s account at that time.

TEEN SUMMER CAMP HOUSING

Housing at summer and youth camp locations is provided by NYFA. Rates for housing vary by location, length of stay, and whether meals are provided. A complete list of rates is available at the summer camps website at https://www.nyfa.edu/summer-camps/housing/

TEEN SUMMER CAMP ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Airport transfers are arranged for summer camp students and the cost is included in the price of housing. NYFA does not offer extra nights for summer camp housing. All students are to arrive on the Sunday before and depart the Saturday after the camp.

INFORMATION PACKETS AND IMPORTANT FORMS

Information packets for each location will be accessible as of mid-April, if not sooner. These packets will include information that parents will need to review and sign. Included will be a roommate questionnaire, permission slips, arrival and departure forms, rules and regulation forms, shipping forms, and a medical information form. The return of all of these forms along with a current photo of the student and a valid health insurance card (in case of an emergency) is mandatory.
